Meet Matevžā a lifelong pottery enthusiast with a warm teaching style and over 10 years of hands-on experience. Having grown up in his fatherās ceramics studio, Lucas learned the art of shaping clay from a young age, surrounded by kilns, wheels, and shelves full of handmade mugs. His goal is simple: to help you explore pottery at your own pace, in a calm and supportive space. Whether you’re here to try something new or refine your technique, Lucas is ready to guide you with patience, passion, and a steady hand.
A brand new way to shape your creativity
This in-person course takes you from raw clay to finished piece ā no prior experience needed. You’ll learn the core techniques of pottery making, including hand-building, wheel-throwing, trimming, and glazing. Each class is structured around creative exploration, with plenty of one-on-one feedback. We’ll also cover the basics of kiln firing, clay types, and surface design. By the end of the course, youāll walk away with a collection of your own unique creations ā and the confidence to keep going.
